Your duties – what do you need to do?

If the Health & Safety Act (1974) applies to your business, then you have a duty to prevent or control the risk of exposure to legionella within your business premises.

As well to requiring risk assessments, Health and Safety laws also require employers to have access to competent help in applying the provisions of health and safety law; to establish procedures for workers if situations are presenting serious, imminent danger; and for cooperation and co-ordination where two or more employers or self-employed people share a workplace.

We offer a range of services to help businesses comply with current legislation ACoP L8.  We are fully trained risk assessors with an extensive background in water management. To ensure compliance with legislation we offer high-quality risk assessments that are easy to understand, we will develop tailored strategies to ensure your business is fully compliant and manages the risk of exposure to legionella effectively. In addition, we also offer 24/7 support services to help you manage any risks identified.
